Hip & Knee Pain ~ Runners & Walkers ~ When it’s not heaing even with good rest, stretching, strengthening PT and Chiro….. this could be what’s going on…. How To Heal

Here’s what I see that’s going on when a runner or walker or anyone for that matter is not healing despite rest and therapy…

The Root Cause, the thing your body is protecting you from, has not been found and the best technique to target the 1° structure is not being used….

Here’s the big idea. The body, your body is doing the best it can do at any given moment…

Even if the hip or knee is painful… even if the joint is breaking down… even if you can’t run or walk in the way you want…

And your body is actually protecting you. It’s just that the protection may be muscle spasms, joint pain and limitations….

I recently saw some big healing success that shows how this works.

Runner with severe pinpoint hip pain… right in the front of the hip. Classic sign of joint problem. She was told by a very good PT that it was a stress fracture… but the MRI was negative… not a stress fracture….

There was an entire track season lost and she could only run 1 minute before severe pain started.

Ok!

I did my myofascial mapping which is a hands on process to find the 1° root cause….

The 1° in this case was in the GUT, on the lower right side of the belly.

I saw the problem. Her body was protecting her from what’s called Leaky Gut Syndrome by compressing and torquing the joint and locking down the pelvis. All the high quality PT or manipulations to the joint were not working…

Why?…

Because the joint was the symptom… not the cause.

So what did I do?

A specific IMT (Integrative Manual Therapy) technique called disruption of membrane and her hip and pelvis unlocked, her range of motion in her hip normalized and she got up and tested the hip and there was no pain.

She came back a week later (only one treatment later) and she reported being able to run without pain for the first time in months.

I gave her very specific things to do to heal her GUT and she continues to get sessions to optimize her biomechanics and run and train…
