Runners & Walkers Healing chronic Hip & Knee Pain –

What I see going on for many runners dealing with long-standing chronic hip or knee pain…

The pelvis can have what are called disruptions of membrane wall integrity. Basically called Leaky Gut Phenomena in the medical literature.

Wit Integrative Manual Therapy we’re looking for what is your body protecting you from and the area you feel pain, hips, back, knees or even the ankle and foot may be just the symptoms but not the 1° root cause…. Kinda like the check engine light in your car. When it blinks on it’s not the problem but it does point to the problem in the engine.

With the body it’s the same idea. Where the pain is is many times not the cause. Especially if you haven’t been getting healed up with good treatments to the knee or hip.

The key is to find your 1° root cause.

That being said, many times the cause is the right side pelvis / colon.. the Cecum and Ilio-cecal valve.
