Taking A Chance In Life….Bone Bruises when doctors have no (or few) answers….

We were watching one of our favorite runners on YouTube yesterday and we’re really bummed out about her having a new injury, a stress reaction (bone bruise) that was going to stop her form running for 6 weeks or so… she’s hopeful it will just be 3 weeks but bones tend to take a bit longer if just left to resting it.

The thing is, we have an integrative manual therapy technique called Bone Bruise Technique.

It was developed by the late Sharon Giammatteo PT PhD. She said she was “fixing up” bone fractures with it back in the late 1990’s. Her colleague said, “you can’t say you’re fixing up fractures!” so she said, “well we’ll call it bone bruises”….

They did a PubMed search and found that with the new higher powered MRI”s they were finding “Bone Bruises”! It was the cause of knee pain and ankle pain that was resisting treatment or surgery. Meaning, even after successful surgeries the client still had debilitating bone pain and was unable to rum.

So I started using the “Bone Bruise Technique” back in the early 2000’s. I had to take more advanced classes until I could get to the advanced cranial or sacral IMT classes in order to get the pre-req’s needed to learn this advanced technique.

Since then we’ve seen what can be seen as miracles and my runners love it because many times when someone is dealing with a calf or shin pain or hip or back pain it’s the very beginning of a bone bruise. With specific treatment we. can correct it…

The key at that point is of course to find out why the bone bruise happened in the first place. Is there a bio-mechanical issue to correct in the foot or pelvis or is the runner gluten intolerant and going gluten free is important?…. Btw bone health and gluten sensitivity are very closely linked.

Message me for more details on that. Here’s an e-book to get you tuned into this. https://ralphhavens.com/glutenfreebook

If you are a runner or someone with a chronic back, hip, knee or lower leg/foot pain this could be the answer.
