The Hidden “Super Shoe Effect” Inside Your Body — Restore Your Spring, Flow & Speed

Integrative Manual Therapy & Helix Biomechanics to repair the fascia and bone latticework that returns natural rebound and efficiency to runners.

Have you ever felt like your body’s natural spring is missing — like no matter how much you stretch, strengthen, or recover, your stride still feels heavy or leaky? After decades working with elite runners and people healing from chronic injuries, I’ve found a common root cause: a loss of integrity in the body’s internal latticework.

What is the internal latticework?

Your fascia, bone structure, organs, arteries, veins, and lymph form a connected network that transmits force and returns energy across each step. When that network is intact the body has efficient load transfer and natural rebound — the same mechanical advantage you get from a high-performance shoe. When it’s compromised, energy leaks everywhere and movement becomes inefficient.

What I do: restore structure, restore spring

Through targeted Integrative Manual Therapy and Helix Biomechanics — plus targeted strain–counterstrain positions — I work to restore that internal structure. The result is what I call the “super shoe effect” inside your own body: improved bounce, better shock absorption, smoother force transfer, and often less pain with faster recovery.

Try a quick test (90 seconds)

  1. Walk around, bend, and note the ranges of motion in your hips and shoulders.
  2. Try one or two of the short strain–counterstrain positions (90 seconds each) on my short test page.
  3. Retest your movement—you may notice increased range, less stiffness, or more spring immediately.

Who benefits?

Competitive and recreational runners, coaches, and anyone stuck with chronic joint pain, lingering soft-tissue problems, or mysterious fatigue that doesn’t respond to normal strengthening and stretching. I work in Fairhaven, Bellingham (Beyond Limits Physical Therapy) and online.

Want to combine this with performance footage?

I’m splicing more clinic footage and running film (including an upcoming piece with Dr. Tom) into longer videos to demonstrate before & after results. If you’d like to be considered for an in-depth Helix Biomechanics session and filmed case study, mention “Super Shoe Study” when you book.
