An interview with Ralph Havens
What do you do?
I help people heal.
I help people transform in physical as well as in emotional, mental, and spiritual ways.
I help people get healthy, so that they can get on with doing what they are here to do.
How do you do it?
I interact with something that is beyond words or names. Grace could be a name for it, but it really is beyond words. When I do that people heal and transform.
But, how does it work?
I don’t know.
There are many things I don’t know, yet I can still use it. I don’t know how Skype works or cell phones or even fax machines. I don’t even truly know how my truck works. Yet, I can still use them and use them well with predictable results.
It’s the same way with what I use to help people heal and transform.
What happens when you work with someone?
Stuff changes. Conditions, pains, problems change. I’ve seen miracles. I see miracles daily. People tell me days, weeks and even months later how much continues to change after their sessions.
How did you get to the place where you could do this?
I studied a lot of healing methods over the past 30 years.
I’ve worked on myself with these methods, obsessively for 30 years.
I made a decision long ago to go where the Truth is and to go with what works no matter where that took me.
I kept testing and re-testing my results and kept what worked and let go of what wasn’t working.
I found that it’s becoming clearer to me that it’s really about Love.
What do you mean by, ‘where the truth is’ and ‘it’s really about love’?
I found by direct experience that healing and transformation is really simpler than I ever imagined; not always easier, but simpler. It’s about letting go of what is not absolutely true.
As I continued to see how much I didn’t know; absolutely know, what showed up was Love.
Again, a word that doesn’t really do it justice. It’s not a thinking or figuring it out thing.
I found there is a way to truly let go; To trust and play and be Love; pure unconditional Love. That’s when Grace shows up and everything changes.
So do you do anything in your sessions? What does a session look like?
Look, with all the training I’ve done, I can use a lot of evaluation methods to look at what is going on with someone. And I do.
I listen to them. I look at their medical history. I ask them what they would like to heal or change.
I can use physical and energetic methods to evaluate what is going on. And I can use physical and energetic techniques to help people heal. They may be standing, sitting or lying down.
I actually do about half of my sessions over Skype or phone with people all over the world. So the sessions can look quite different from one session to another.
Each session is truly unique. I use whatever is useful for the person to help them heal. I am in a state of grace. Again words don’t do it justice.
Then I re-test stuff. I check to see what has changed. How has their condition; what they came in to heal changed? And over the days and weeks the person gets to see what else has changed and continues to change.
Can you tell me more about what you think you are doing?
Ultimately, I don’t think any of us know what we’re doing. I could come up with some ideas around physical healing or energetic healing. I could talk about principles in physics that could explain it. But I really don’t know how the healing occurs.
Heck, even to think that something wasn’t already perfect and needed healing has some assumptions built into it. I’m ok with not knowing absolutely. And believe me I’ve been searching for answers to this for years. It’s ok to not know and it’s ok to be somewhat confused.
As Arthur C. Clarke said, “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.”
I feel I’m playing a game and using all my skills to help someone heal and achieve their goals, while at the same time, realizing I may not know the absolute Truth of what is going on.
The cool part is people’s experiences of life change after interacting with me and whatever this is. Healing and Transformation show up and people’s lives improve.
